   Project scale: five-star hotel occupying a land area of 67,000 square meters.
   The tertiary industry in Cixi is well developed. In 2003, the city's retail volume of social consumer goods stood at USD 1.3 billion, ranking at the top of all counties (county-level cities) for 5 years in a row. To date, the city has total 2 four-star hotels and 3 three-star hotels, with occupancy rate staying above 70%. In 2003, the total revenue from the city's hotels amounted to USD 38 million. The launch of Hangzhou Bay Bridge and the Hangzhou Bay New District will bring huge business opportunities for the deluxe hotel.
   The hotel will adopt an international brand name and have minimum 400 rooms (suites).
