   Project scale: full length of roads at 31910m under plan.
   The project consists of the following 5 sub-projects: (1) The Yongjiang River spanning bridge and its connecting road as part of the East Ring Road, which starts from the South Ring Road in the south and ends at the North Ring Road in the north; it is an urban freeway with full length of 12500m and road width of 68m, and involves total investment of RMB 2,899,540,000. (2) The northern extension of the airport access road, which starts from the North Ring Road in the south and links to Jiangbei Avenue in the north; it is an urban freeway with full length of 4630m and road width of 44m, with one bridge spanning Yaojiang River, and involves total investment of RMB 687,260,000. (3) The eastern extension of South Ring Road, which starts from East Ring Road in the east and ends at the Century Avenue in the west, with full length of 5400m, road width of 44m and total investment of RMB 552,370,000. (4) Jingjia-Chengzhuang Road, which is broken down into 3 sections: the section between Century Avenue and Sangtian Road; the section between Shuguang Road and Tongtu Road; the section between North Ring Road and the North Outer Ring Road. This road is 6680m in full length and 44m in width and involves total investment of RMB 1,962,910,000. (5) The western section of Tongtu Road, which starts from Xinzhi Road in the east and ends at the airport access road in the west, with full length of 2700m, road width of 68m and total investment of RMB 620 million. The whole project is to be completed by end 2008 and is to involve total investment of RMB 6.722 billion. It may be broken down into sub-projects for cooperation in the form of equity JV or contractual JV.

   Ningbo Urban Construction and Investment Holdings Ltd. is a government-sponsored investment company incorporated in December 1999 with a registered capital of RMB 508 million. The business scope of the company covers urban construction, related investment and financing, industrial investment and management, and state assets management. As of end 2003, the company had total assets of RMB 7.061 billion and net assets of RMB 1.442 billion. Its current main investment projects include Ningbo Tianyi Square, the Old Bund, Ningbo Qianhu International Convention Center, and regional projects in Cicheng and Xiangshan. The company is also involved in the finance and securities business and is the controlling shareholder of Ningbo Fuda (a listed company).
